Well I'm embarking on a new Project- Project: Slip Yoke Eliminator. I shopped around, an found a smokin' Deal on an Advanced Adapters SYE kit on Ebay. $179 bucks, not bad, considering new they're almost $300. This is an older kit, not as advanced as the new kits, but it should do well in my older jeep. First thing I did was inspect the kit. It looks like it's all there, though there's not a lot to it. I was suprised at how beefy this kit really is. The tailshaft housing is almost 8" in diameter, and the tailshaft is almost 2" thick. Pretty cool. Next I'll need to read the instructions, n maybe contact Advanced Adapters to see if they'll support it second hand. I also need to decide if I'm going to remove the NP231 Transfer case to install it or not. I might, since I won't be needing the transfercase lowering kit from my 3.5" lift kit anymore once I install this kit, supposively. Update: I haven't done much since it's spring, and yardwork calls :( Soon tho sooonnnnn!
