The New Mopar Performance Balancer is the same one that Hesco sells, so I was fortunate to have found it so cheap.

Looking at the New Balancer it reaffimed how my cuts should be made from the back of the balancer. as I'd originally planned.

Well now that the Balancer is settled, you should really change your front seal while the balancer is off the engine. Use a flat blade screwdriver and gently pry the old seal out and install the new one. I used a mallet and a piece of 2x4 to gently press it in place. next you can put on the HB, Line up the pin and tap it with the 2x4 and mallet far enough that you can tighten the large holding bolt with the washer. careful here, you can strip the first few threads of the bolt.

With that in place you can Put back together the front of the Engine. I bought the replacement Therostat housing, but when I put the thermostat in it it wouldn't clear the belt tensioner for the AC. so I cleaned up and put back on the old housing and ordered the fitting for the heater hose. I Replaced the whole length of heater hose, since my jeep is almost 20 years old, I figured it would be a good idea. The new Temp Sensor fit well in the adapter.

Next I had to make the intake manifold fit. It turns out, since I was keeping my old exhaust manifold, that the new intake would not fit because the ehaust stuck out too far. So I had to set to trim the Manifold back quite a ways. I trimmed it about 3" back to where the fins in between had a crease. I used a Saws-all, a drimmel, and a hacksaw to cut it out properly. I also had to drill the Alignment stud holes about 5/8" higher. so that the top of the hole was almost even with the bottom of the port opening.

Once that was done, I was able to mount the Intake, Torqued the bolts to 22Lbs. a Ujoint socket was immensly helpful. I had to shave a little off a couple of the hardened washers to ensure a good fit. Look at the manual for the proper tightening sequece, but it's basically, from the top center out tward the sides alternating top and bottom bolts. Make sure there's at least 1/4 clearance with your exhaust, you don't want anything touching. I also cut off the top of the power steering bracket to make it fit. Later the mounting arm for the air cleaner will bolt here.
